CAN I USE THE KIT IF I AM PREGNANT, BREASTFEEDING OR TRYING TO CONCEIVE?
Any detoxification program is not recommended until at least 6 months after birth or while breastfeeding, and then only with the support of your health professional. It is suitable when indicated, however, to use the 10 day Gut Detox Kit whilst preparing the body to conceive. NOTE: IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE FULL SUPPLEMENT PROTOCOL (INCLUDING PARA RID®) SHOULD BE CEASED BEFORE POTENTIAL CONCEPTION.

CAN I DRINK COFFEE OR ALCOHOL?
We suggest eliminating coffee and alcohol for the duration of your 10-day Gut Detox. For more information, visit page 29.

CAN I EXERCISE?
These 10 days are for slower, more mindful and nourishing practices. Think less high-intensity exercise and more restorative forms of yoga, walking and Qi Gong. Find our movement guidelines on page 32.

CAN I KEEP TAKING THE PLANT PROTOCOL™ PRODUCTS AFTER THE DETOX FINISHES?
Yes. The Gut Greens® and Liv Tox® are designed for ongoing gut and detoxification support. The Para Rid® can be taken as your inner state of balance requires, and can be particularly helpful while on the move. Inner Sweep® is a wonderful source of soluble fibre PHGG, charcoal and clay, and may serve as a post-indulgence companion. The Flo Lax® tea contains Rhubarb root, which encourages gentle movement. As such, long-term consumption is not recommended to prevent bowel dependence.

CAN THE KIT BE TAKEN WITH OTHER MEDICATION?
Consult your trusted health professional before using in conjunction with conventional or complementary medicine. A few considerations: Inner Sweep® contains ‘absorbent’ ingredients which can interfere with the action of some medications or nutrients. It should be taken one hour after meals. Para Rid® should not be taken if you are allergic to nuts: it contains black walnut as described per label. Further, it should not be used if pregnant or likely to become pregnant, or while breastfeeding. Flo Lax® can be also enjoyed as a half-strength herbal brew.

WILL I LOSE WEIGHT?
Many of our customers find they do shed some weight, but our bodies are all so unique. If weight loss is your goal, perhaps allow this process to be a time of inward reflection on your prior dietary habits and routine, allowing your detox to open doors to a mindful approach to self-care and wellness.

HOW OFTEN CAN I USE THE KIT?
At a minimum, we recommend an annual detox to reset foundational gut health and clear toxic build-up. A more frequent bi-annual or seasonal cleanse will ensure you keep your wellbeing on track throughout the year.

For chronic gut disharmony, the kit can be used consecutively over 20-40 days. Consecutive programs should be done only with the support of your health professional.
