RICE BRAN JAPANESE PILLAR CANDLES BY DAIYO

Stunning, all natural plant based pillar candles from Warosoko Daiyo.

Handcrafted in Japan, made from 100% rice bran wax with lead-free, organic cotton wick. Rice bran wax is harder than other waxes conventionally used for candles thus lasts substantially longer.

Block Candles come in three sizes:
Small : 65mm x 100mm, 48 hrs
Medium : 73mm x 165mm, 96 hrs
Large : 88mm x 210mm, 120 hrs

On lighting a flame

On first burn 
Keep your candle burning until the melted wax reaches the full diameter of the candle, wax has a burn memory and will only melt to the memory of the first burn. If you extinguish your candle on its first burn before the wax melt reaches the edges of the candle, when you relight your candle it will 'remember' the melt diameter from the first burn and may form a tunnel around the wick and the edges of the candle will not melt.

Daiyo was established in the Takashima county of Shiga Prefecture in 1914. The artisanship has been passed down across four generations, polished and refined as time passes.
